HOW TO GET INVOLVED

The Sacramento Regional Transit District encourages your involvement and participation in the South Sacramento Corridor Phase 2 Project.

There are many ways to get information or to comment on the South Sacramento Corridor Phase 2 Project:

Attend Public Meetings

By attending public meetings you will receive the most up-to-date information about the project and will have direct access to RT staff and technical consultants who can answer your specific questions.

RT has held a variety of public meetings, workshops, open houses, and events in various locations along the corridor to facilitate public involvement.

In addition to scheduled public meetings, RT will make presentations to organizations and associations who request them. If you are interested in having a small group presentation, please contact us.

Attend a Small Group Meeting

RT routinely makes presentations at small group and agency meetings to those affected by the proposed project. Feedback from these meetings is folded into the project design and outreach approach as appropriate.


Read Project Updates

RT will distribute newsletters, fact sheets, and other informational updates. In addition, information will be disseminated using this web site, newspaper articles, television and radio reports, and cable television announcements and meeting rebroadcasts. Check the calendar page for meeting and cable rebroadcasts dates.


Visit the Project Repository Sites

A repository of project materials is available for review at three sites. The repositories contain all public documents generated during the project. However, large project maps and larger technical documents will only be available at the RT Administration Office repository. Site locations are:

Join the Project Mailing List

To receive newsletters, updates, and notices of future public meetings, submit your contact information and you will be added to the project mailing list. Just contact us and request to be added to South Sacramento Corridor Phase 2 Project mailing list.

RT has established a 24-hour information line that provides project updates and a voice mail service that will forward your concerns directly to RT staff and technical consultants. Call us at (916) 491-5003.
